Borunbabur Bondhu: Anik Dutta Is Official Selection At Third Eye Asian Film Festival 2019

Anik Datta's Borunbabur Bondhu is now an official Selection At Third Eye Asian Film Festival 2019. Ritwick Chakraborty, Arpita Chatterjee and Bidipta Chakrabarty was seen in the lead roles. Recently, the film was also screened at the Kolkata International Film Festival this year. The news was shared by Arpita Chatterjee.
Arpita took to her Twitter and wrote, "Extremely happy & excited as my next film 'Borunbabur Bondhu', directed by #AnikDatta will be screened at the 18th Third Eye Asian Film Festival, Mumbai."

Borunbabur Bondhu is a social drama based on the story of the writer Ramapada Chowdhury. On the work front, Ritwick will be next seen in Teko. Ritwick Chakraborty, Srabanti Chatterjee will be sharing screen space for the first time.
The trailer begins with an introduction of the leading man Alokesh played by Ritwick Chakraborty who is very much obsessed with good healthy hair. In fact he chooses a girl, played by Srabanti, for marriage because of her good looking long hair. Everything was going good until Alokesh tried new hair oil named as Byomkesh hair oil. Unfortunately this new hair oil gives a negative result and Alokesh starts loosing all his hair and turns into a bald or Teko. Because of his hair loss, the girl cancels the marriage. To take revenge of his hair loss Alokesh decides to file a court case against the oil manufacturing company. Will he win the case?
